MG Motor is inviting graphic designers & illustrators to re-write history, by re-creating some of their greatest ads, taking a giant leap forward, while staying rooted to their glorious history. MG Motor have got plenty of great ads, but they have picked five. You may choose to pick any that you like best from the 5 ads, or if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, pick all of them. Once you’ve done that, the rest is easy. Re-imagine the whole ad, and re-create it the way you would have done it had the car in the ad been launched right now. Tell the story of a classic car, in the most cutting edge, futuristic way possible

The story of MG (Morris Garages) began in 1924 in the UK. In the years that followed, MG’s stunning sports cars and cabriolets were the ride of choice for many celebrities, including British Prime Ministers and several members of the British Royal Family. The first few cars they manufactured bore the octagonal MG logo which became a symbol for the brand. Though the founders went on to win numerous awards over the years, they will always be remembered in history for pioneering the British automotive industry and creating world speed record by their sports cars.
